BRIEF

With the rising number of people using social networking sites daily, businesses need to maintain a good online presence and excel in the social media landscape.

 

Stepping into the role of a digital communications lead at ICON Models, my goal was to make sure that the company succeeded in the digital media world and stayed ahead of its competitors. 

​

During my time at ICON Models, I have successfully enhanced company's social media and marketing efforts, and consequently improved brand reputation. Not only have I developed an effective content strategy that resulted in an increase in the number of followers on various social media platforms, but also created an interactive way of connecting consumers with the brand.

STRATEGY #1

Content Creation & Strategy Development

To successfully position ICON Models against other modelling and talent agencies, I have developed a comprehensive, long-term social and digital media strategy that provided target audience with valuable and sharable content. Through high-quality images, videos and stories on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, the brand has built a stronger reputation within the Canadian fashion market and increased its brand awareness amongst the forthcoming talents.

Follower rate on Instagram has increased by 7.5% within the period of a few months. 

Follower rate on Facebook has increased by 5% within the period of a few months. 

Follower engagement on Instagram has increased by 10.2% within the period of a few months. 

The number of impressions has been continuously increasing by 10% monthly. 

Monthly agency sign-ups have increased by 25%.

STRATEGY #2

Community Management 

To effectively maintain loyal followers and attract prospect models and talents to the business, I have developed a system where the community can participate in the online discussion and take part in brand activities. By connecting with the followers on a personal level and answering their questions and concerns, the agency has seen an increase in positive brand reviews and an improvement in customer satisfaction.

      12,000-13,000 Instagram impressions a month.

Project/Campaign Coordination

To successfully land partnerships with some of the most leading companies in Canada, I have built an effective marketing pitch that helped the agency to close deals. By leveraging social media platforms and email marketing, I have secured long-term collaborations with fashion and consumer-oriented brands on a variety of e-commerce, editorial, film & TV projects.

RESULTS

Secured partnerships with brands such as TNT, SoftMoc, Costco, JOICO, Roots, Elegant Wedding Magazine, Toronto Fashion Week, Fashion Art Toronto.
